You Can Rest Here Awhile
Welcome. I’m so glad you’ve come. Please make yourself comfortable, whatever that means for you.
What in you is whispering or crying out for attention? What do you need more of? What do you need less of? What might feel good to you today?
The patterns of restlessness, numbing, escaping, bracing, and shutting down that you carry from the past make sense. Whatever you’re doing to cope with what you’ve survived makes perfect sense. You don’t have to pretend to be well, and have your shit together, and fake “happy” here.
You can be whatever you are.
You can feel however you feel.
In our time together during your massage session, you don’t have to strive or perform. You can simply arrive. If it feels good to you, we’ll begin by helping your body root down right here in the now. We’ll help your ears stop straining to hear danger and your eyes stop scanning for the next threat. We’ll help you ride your breath in gentle waves, slow and deep, deeper still.
Massage can be a place to let tight tissues soften. To let the body unclench and expand. To feel the heaviness lift, even for a little while. For the ones living under stress and strain, coping with chronic pain, carrying grief unspeakable, the massage treatment room can be one of the rare, liminal spaces where that signals to the nervous system, “you can rest now.”
You don’t have to give anything here. You don’t have to explain or justify. You are allowed to just receive. To notice your own internal felt sense and trust it. To begin to discover what you want, and to ask for what you need. To feel safer in allowing nurturing and tenderness to reach you.
You exist. You are worthy of care. Your needs matter. You can rest here awhile.
If you are looking for the most relaxing massage in Casper, Wyoming—not only for soothing muscle tension, but for experiencing deep, whole-person rest and restoration—welcome. I look forward to working with you.
